This summer we've enjoyed...

14 Months. Loves his bath time.

Papa's company picnic.

My happy little boy.
The back of Daddy's truck is always a fun spot for the kids to run around.

My little perfectionist. She has been having so much fun helping with the details for her ballerina princess 3rd birthday party. We are having a couple of her little 'besties' come over and twirl around to celebrate. Almost every day she comes into my room and wants to look at the pile of things I have gathered for her party. She's so girly, and so detailed, I love it.

And then there's my boy. He is on a football field right in his element. We went to Temecula last minute for a festival and firework show. The second Luke saw the field he gravitated to the ball of course, and had so much fun running around with his cousins and daddy. He is all boy, it brings such joy to see him so happy and free spirited.

Still a little gatherer.
She has her babies, purse and all the accessories...

Cousin time. A fun play day with Rylee.
In the evening we visited Daddy and got to take a little tour of the engine.

Another play date.
We went to Aiden's pool to splash around. The kids had so much fun eating snacks, running around,
and being little monkeys.

Lake Havasu. Check out that hair!

Daddy teaching Savi how to drive the boat. Big stuff!

More crafts for her party.

We had a celebration party for the guys who have been on the department for 10 years.
What a fun family day!

Celebrating our 5 year anniversary.
I am the luckiest girl. Mike is an amazing husband and daddy.
He works so hard to provide for us, and keeps us silly and striving to be better. He is the glue to our family.

Yeee haaaa! Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney.
7 months pregnant, the baby loved the concert too!

Yes, daddy gave Luke his first hair cut! I had to keep feeding him to try to
get him to stay still. It was pretty comical.

More cousin time.
Happy 4th of July.
Teri was a great hostess as usual. The kids had a blast. We ended the
night with fireworks and popcorn.

Savi's first hair cut too!

Big girl at the salon. She thought she was pretty big stuff!

Our tough little Savi.
She surprised us, but survived getting stitches. It didn't
stop her from having a great time at the lake.

My loves!

Nana time.

We've had busy days, lazy days, fun-filled days, park days, family days, and it's all been so much fun! We love getting the kids out and about, but also love our days just relaxing at home. We are so blessed to have our babies and love making memories for them and us.

Photo Update...finally!

Pool time with grandaddy and cousins.

The cousins being silly!

Practicing butterflies at ballet.

We celebrated Rock's 5th birthday on May 11th. Yes, he got a piece of turkey
as his cake and even got to use the special plate. He waited patiently as Savannah
sang him happy birthday.

My special Mother's Day candle that Savannah made for me. She
loves turning it on when we eat.

It's a little hard to see, but on the bottom of her doll house behind
her is her baby's bath. I was in the other room and asked her what she was doing
(since I hadn't seen her in 15 minutes or so) and when I walked in she showed me how she was baptizing her baby. Such a special and sweet time. Love this girl's heart!
More ballet...

Passing snacks...he loves to eat!

6 months. Our precious third baby...

Our sweet loves.
They have such a fun time playing together these days (well most of the time).

More cousin time.

Savi and nana. She loves nana and prays for her so often. She really
has a soft place in her heart for her nana.

My little man!
We were at the park and while Savi was on the horses, this is what kept him happy.
Such a boy, I love it!

Savannah ate the frosting off the cupcake and gave Lucas the chocolate
cake part, he loved it and knew no difference.

Mid June?

I'm in disbelief that it's already mid June! We are only two weeks into our summer vacation (my break) and it already feels like we've done so much. We haven't done too many activities, we've just had a lot of family time. Mike finished his big test and did such a great job! I'm so proud of all of his hard work. We were able to celebrate my last day and his great job on his test when nana and grandaddy watched the kids. They had a blast as always! Now I'm not sure if the highlight of going over there is the pool like it used to be, or the two new kitties and the treats nana buys for Savi to feed them. They are so loved and we are grateful for that.

Mr. Lucas is still an explorer and a busy little guy who doesn't want to be one step behind his big sis. He's 14 months and will throw anything if a ball isn't around. Daddy has been having fun playing baseball with him. It's amazing what an arm that little guy has. He's a happy boy who wants to be right by my side. He laughs easily and is still so ticklish. He loves animals. He's a great sleeper and loves his naps, thank goodness!

Savi is almost 3, wow! We are having fun planning her little ballerina party that she is inviting a couple of her little friends to. She hasn't changed much in the sense that she doesn't like a big crowd. She told me she would like to have a few friends, "Girls mommy" and specified who her friends are. She's so funny. She is all about her Barbies, baby dolls, pink and purple, skirts, dresses, shorts and ballet. She will be helping me wash dishes or cooking dinner and stand on her stool to use the counter as her ballet bar to perform some new move. She tells me that it's her moves for ballet. She goes once a week and absolutely loves it, and of course the stickers that come at the end.

Our life feels content and peaceful. There are loud and crazy moments, but we have all we need. We are amazed at our life and how blessed we've been. There have been some moments that were trying, but of course He is bigger than those and has seen us through. We've gained strength and wisdom over the past couple years that we never fathomed we could obtain.

Our little bun in the oven is cooking along just great. I'm 6 months and feeling great. He or she gets up with me in the morning, so that's our little time together where I just sit in the still of the morning feeling the rolls and kicks.

Going With the Flow

Well we've moved from Corona to Orange for the time being. We quickly realized that home is where we make it. The kids adjusted so quickly, and we are cozy and happy. We truly will make home wherever we are all together. We're grateful for the timing of how it all worked out, and are enjoying making memories each and every day.

The kids are our world, and they keep us busy! Seeing them interact and play together more and more each day is so neat. Savi is still loving her ballet class and always wants to know if it's almost Monday. Mr. Luke is officially walking all around town, and is still all about throwing the ball.

Lucas' 1st Birthday

Cheeese. This was his birthday smile!

He chose RA Sushi for dinner, so we went on his actual birthday. We have church Wednesday nights, and it's become our norm to have dinner with The Walkers, so we did our usual. He had a blast of course when we sang to him. He really is such a happy boy!

He couldn't wait to see what Bon Bon had gotten him.

His birthday cake that Grandma made for him.

Granddaddy fed him lunch, and of course he was happy all day at his party!

Savi girl getting excited for the animals to come...

The alpaca had us all cracking up.

Mr. Lucas wanted to hold and hug the rabbits.

'Dog, dog.'
He calls every animal dog, so the rabbit was a 'dog' to him too.

Yummmm

He was so proud of himself, he's definitely all boy!
He made a mess of it all and was happy as ever doing so.

He's officially done!

Daddy cleaned him up, and he ended the day opening all of his presents.
Thank you to all who made his 1st Birthday so special.
We love you Lukey!

Lucas is ONE!

Our little man is officially 1 year old! He had a great time celebrating his first birthday with a few friends and our family. Pictures to come...

He was such a happy boy and loved the animals. He put his hands out and would point to the rabbits. He loves animals and refers to most as 'dog,' 'dog'. His cake (that Grandma made of course) and frosting was painted all over his face and body after his birthday song. He was such a mess, daddy had to give him a bath to clean him up. He is taking many steps now and will walk from one end of the room to the next. I think he is surprised with himself when he does it, or maybe my cheering gets him all excited. He'll be a full on walker real soon.

His one-year doctor check up...he weighs 23 pounds and is 30 inches tall. He is in the 75th percentile. The doctor came in as he was throwing a little soft baseball toy and commented on his throw. He would point to it when the doctor would catch it; he was impressed with him. The doctor said he is one strong boy! He also told Savannah, as she sat in the chair so properly smiling and watching each and every detail the doctor took part in, to start working out since her brother is a strong one. She thought that was pretty funny. All of his development is right on track and he's doing great. We are so blessed with our healthy babies. A day doesn't go by that I don't thank God for their health.
